what do you think would have captured your interest the most?

2) and after reading the comments by classmates in Discussion n. 4

I think the topic I would be the most interested in is about tribes because it is such a big topic that people have different opinion toward. Many people would consider themselves to belong in a certain community/ group. In these tribes, different people will view each tribe differently and have their own opinions about it. There might be some miss understandings and stereotypes of each group might be formed.
ReplyDeleteI believe that I would have been very interested to learn about the experience of Italian Americans coming to the United States. I would have especially liked to hear about the Professor's take on the history and challenges of that time. I was surprised, sometimes shocked and appalled at the cartoons I saw and to be honest, it definitely gave me a different perspective on the plight of Italian Americans and I look forward to learning more.
ReplyDeleteI am also grateful for the comments the other students gave about the expectations of the class and general class rules. It all seems overwhelming at first but I am sure we will all get the hang of it soon enough.
